Indian Creek Youth Camp

One of my favorite places on this earth is Indian Creek Youth Camp(ICYC)! I have spend a week or 2 here every summer for the past 10 years. ICYC holds some really great memories. It's where I became a child of God and where I met my husband, Ryan. I have also made many friends here!

Spending time at ICYC is about more that the fun activities and people though. It's like a spiritual re-charge. Each day there is a morning devotional, afternoon class, discussion groups, singing, evening worship and a cabin devotional. The lessons and singing are always wonderful! As is the fellowship with Christian friends! (And the food is really good too!)

This is where I will be this week! :) I am so excited! So, I won't be answering any email, messages, or comments. If you send them they'll get answered it will just be a few days!

A little bit about the camp:

Since 1971, Indian Creek Youth Camp has provided summer camping for youths from Alabama and twelve other states. We currently have 8 sessions each summer, each directed and staffed by faithful Christians who share a love for children, the Bible, and who understand the importance of living a godly example. Although each week has it's own unique personality, there are some things that are the same throughout the summer swimming, softball, volleyball, canoeing, basketball, devotionals, singing, and other special activities. After spending a week at ICYC, most children are eager to come back the next summer. ICYC is a place of learning, of making lifelong friendships, and of making an eternal difference in the lives of young and old alike.             ~From the website

In  addition to the summer sessions, ICYC also offers weekend retreats and is available for rental throughout the year.

ICYC is located in Oakman, AL. You can find more information through there website http://icycal.com
