Oh, how powerful our words are! We must make sure that we are using them to lift one another up and not put each other down. We must be slow to speak. We are told to encourage one another, to seek the well-being of others(1 Corinthians 10:24).
With all of our technology today, there are many ways we can lift each others spirits.

My challenge to you is to contact one person each day to offer praise, encouragement, concern, and/or appreciation. If we all do this, think of how many people will be affected!

Thank you so much for stopping by!
This is so true! I feel so good when I encourage others. My excuse for not is usually "time" which is no real excuse at all!
ReplyDeleteThis is such a great point. It does not take too much effort to give an encouraging word in some form. Thank you for this challenge!

So true! Ephesians 4:29 "Do not let any unwholesome talk come out of your mouths, but only what is helpful for building others up according to their needs, that it may benefit those who listen." The tongue is powerful. Thanks for the reminder. God Bless!

Time used to be my excuse too! But now that I've realized I can encourage someone so quickly I am trying to do better about it!
