(Pro 31:15) She riseth also while it is yet night, and giveth meat to her household, and a portion to her maidens.
The virtuous woman puts the needs of others above her own. She is willing to give up a few more minutes of sleep to provide food for her household and her servants. As Christians this should not be a new concept for us. There are many scriptures that tell us that we should put others before our self. We must make sure we have our priorities right! When I taught bible class, we sang a song using the acronyms JOY:J-Jesus O-others Y-yourself
But getting up early isn't just for your family. Doing so allows you some quiet time with God, time to plan your day and get a jump start on it! I feel like I get so much more accomplished when I begin my day earlier. It isn't easy for me to get up early though. I have to work at it! I enjoy going to bed the same time as my husband and he's a night owl!(Ok so hubby would like me to add that he's not a night owl, just likes to stay up late! Sounds like the same thing to me! LOL) It's a lot harder to get going in the morning without enough sleep!

Very well said! I struggle with getting up early myself, especially since I work late nights. However, it does give a great start to the day and especially your family's day.
